Weekend Hike-Stimpson Nature Preserve Whatcom Falls Park Bellingham

This hike was a 7 out of 10...a nice walk in the woods, very nice, but just not spectacular. I would recommend it as a gorgeous walk in the woods. After Stimpson Nature Preserve, we went to Whatcom Falls Park where we had a picnic. We LOVED the easy access to the "cute" waterfall...John loves waterfalls especially and he wasn't disappointed! What a gorgeous moss-covered bridge. We had a lot of fun here. Then we visited the Sehome Arboretum with the last few moments of daylight, which was a great stop...loved the tunnel along with the view from the lookout, very easy walk from the parking lot. We then drove through Boulevard waterfront park at sunset to see the overhead walkway. THEN on the way out of Bellingham, I saw another HEART! Look at that! Ivy growing on the side of this building!
